I feel that this summer has been the best summer of my life. The reason for it is….um…I got this…..I got nothing. Well, let me give the highlights of my summer. I went on a cruise this summer. It was filled with three types of people; obese people, old dudes, and families. BTW Alaska is boring as hell. In one of the places we went to, it was so remote there was no highway but there was one Indian place. ONE INDIAN PLACE, but no Subway or McD. There is some crappy law against it apparently. Alaska, now we see why you were the last state in the US. Some lady on one of the tours told us that there was a line around the block for…wait for it….a little longer…..a Mickey Ds (That is a McDonalds for all you readers who don’t care for nicknames). There were people so desperate for it they used a helicopter to deliver food to a nearby town. They used a medical helicopter to ship food, for God’s sake!!!! There could have been a person dying, but noooooooooooo a Big Mac is much more important. I could only imagine their response. “Base to Chopper 1, there are hikers stuck on a mountain near your position. Can you get ‘em.” “Sorry, we’re filled with Big Macs and fries.” Then there are about 5 minutes of arguing and awkward silences, until the guys on base agree to give the hikers each a big Mac and fries. It’s freakin’ ridiculous.
